Helo a chroeso i'ch tudalennau lleol ar wefan 'Einbobi'.

Julian Williams ydw i, Prif Uwcharolygydd Rhanbarth Gorllewinol Heddlu De Cymru sy'n cwmpasu ardaloedd Abertawe, Castell-nedd a Phort Talbot. Mae'r swyddogion sy'n perthyn i'r timau cymdogaeth yn ymrwymedig i ddarparu gwasanaeth o ansawdd i gymunedau amrywiol yr ardal hon. Maent yn deall pwysigrwydd gwrando arnoch a delio â'ch pryderon.

Mae gennych fy ymrwymiad fel comander yr ardal hon mai ein nod yw rhagori wrth blismona ein cymdogaethau ac mae gennym hanes da yn y maes hwn. Drwy gydweithio â chi, y gymuned, rydym wedi gwneud cynnydd da wrth leihau nifer y troseddau a'r ofn o drosedd ledled Abertawe, Castell-nedd a Phort Talbot.

Pa ardal mae awdurdod lleol Awdurdod Lleol Abertawe yn ei gwmpasu?

Neath Port Talbot BCU extends from the Amman Valley to the head of the Neath Valley, and Crymlyn Burrows on the shore of Swansea Bay. Its three sectors correspond with the main urban centres, Neath, Port Talbot and Pontardawe. The historical make up of the area - the mix of rural and urban communities and the increase in tourism in the valley area - gives each area distinct identities, cultures and policing needs.

The BCU is home to a number of large manufacturing plants including Corus Steelworks located in Port Talbot. There are also several popular tourist attractions such as Margam Park and Aberavon Beach. As well as the normal policing issues experienced by other policing divisions, G BCU also faces the additional challenge of responding to incidents at these sites.
