CCTV was viewed in the company of the Manager and a plump female was seen in the company of an elderly gentleman who was carrying a shopping bag, take an item from one of the shelves and directly place it into the shopping bag. A few seconds later the female is again seen selecting an item from a stand and they both walk out without making any effort to pay. When the Manager was asked to trace them entering the store, it transpired that they had also taken bottles of spirits.
In all, when further CCTV investigation was carried out, these two were responsible for shoplifting at this store a further 3 times.
