Drugs in the Melyn area

Officers have conducted a number of warrants in the Neath East area as part of an ongoing operation to tackle the use and supply of drugs.
Much of the information which leads to the execution of the search warrants came from members of the public who were concerned at the impact of drugs on their Community.
We want to hear from anyone who has any information about drugs in the area to come forward. We will act on the information and target those involved in the drugs scene.
The use and supply of drugs is linked to other forms of crime such as burglary, robbery and the stolen goods market. By targeting a small number of individuals in the Community we can make the area much safer for everyone.
