Dog Fouling Operation

During the last PACT meeting residents identified Dog Fouling as a PACT priority in Bryn Catwg, Cadoxton.
On Thursday 22nd April 2010 at 0830hrs to 1100hrs PCSO Sally Thomas and PCSO Lian Gittus carried out a Dog Fouling Operation at Bryn Catwg, Cadoxton. This operation was carried out with staff from Neath Port Talbot Council Waste Enforcement. Patrols were carried out in the area and residents were spoken to although no offences were committed during this time.
Patrols were also carried out in the surrounding area and one Fixed Penalty Notice was issud to a dog owner whose dog was witnessed fouling in the Aberdulais area. Also dog owners were spoken to about their dogs wandering around without a lead and the consequences.
Regular patrols ahve been carried out by Skewen Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to work closely with Neath Port Talbot Council to address residents concerns.
