FUND RAISING EVENT GREAT SUCCESS!!

On Saturday 2nd june 2012 a fund raising event was held at the Brynlliw Public house in Grovesend in order to raise money for Pengelli primary School. There was a childrens entertainer, games, music, stalls and a after party at the Pub for the youngsters.
The event was a great success with many people turning up and showing their support. PCSO's Sonia Lewis and Karen Garrington from the Gorseinon neighbourhood policing team also attended the event, where they done a fantastic disco for the youngsters and they also donated £50 to the funds. This donation was money from the success of the Blue Light discos organised by PCSO Jane Phillips which are held regularly at the Globe Inn, Loughor where approx 60 - 100 children turn up. The entry cost is £1.50 for the Discos at The Globe Inn and all the money gets put back into the local community.
