Billy Blue leads the way
On Monday 12th July 2010 at 8.15 from the Monument on St Teilo Street a 'walking bus' took place. Many of the school children and their parents / guardians came along to support the event.
The school, Police and road safety team are always looking at new ways to improve the traffic congestion issues at the school whilst also helping the environment. The walking bus provides a safe, healthy and green way for the children to get to school.
Pcso James Tincombe, PC Jody Millin and 'Billy Blue' also took part in the bus to show their support to this initiative.
This initiative is taking place all week and parents are encouraged to walk their children to school. Hopefully billy will make another surprise appearance later in the week!!
