Clase football tournament for National Play Day.
Date Published: 12/08/2012
On Tuesday 1st August 2012 it was National Play Day and all areas of
South Wales had events on to celebrate. In Clase they set up a Football Tournament and a bouncy Castle for the children. The event was meant to be outdoors but due to the poor weather conditions it was held in the Community Centre. Entry was £1 and there was hot food, sweets and drinks being sold. All profits went to the Friends of Clase community group who work closely with the school. There was an excellent turn out from people of all ages at a fantastically organised event. Four Morriston Neighbourhood Officers attended at the event to help out and to take part and we had a great time. We look forward to next year’s event.
