The Deputies
POLICE in the
Swansea
Valley have been busy swearing in extra eyes and ears on the ground in the form of deputy sheriffs.
While they will not have powers of arrest, the new recruits from
Craigfelin
Primary School, in Clydach, will help improve their community by reporting issues to the neighbourhood policing team.
Cory Thyer, 10, said: "It's fantastic to help look after the property of the school."
