At the last PACT meeting is was mentioned by members of the public that reside in Aberkenfig area, that there were a increase in vehicles speeding along Pandy Road, this then became a PACT priority.
On the 19th June PCSO Bowen conducted a Speed Scoping exercise was at 17:15.
Forty vehicles where monitored for their speed along Pandy Road in the space of one hour, the highest speed recorded was 30mph, average speed was sounds 22.375 mph, although through just perception alone they did appear to be going faster.
