Charity cycle event

On Friday 22nd June 2012, Maesteg NPT assisted in a Charity Cycle in Tesco, Maesteg. The event was in aid of Cancer Research UK and the aim was to cycle to the moon with all Tescos in the country doing their share to reach the total. PCSO’s Louise Thomas and Tom Davies each cycled their little bit and helped collection with buckets. The £500 target was surpassed due to the generous Maesteg community. The event was run by the Community Champion for Tesco Ceri, with staff members riding all day.
