PONTY OFFICERS JOIN TEDDY BEARS PICNIC

Taff North Officers, based at Pontypridd Police Station, enjoyed the fun at this years Teddy Bears Picnic in the lovely Ynysangharad Park. Even the early showers did not deter the crowds and a dry spell of weather for most of the picnic saw toddlers enjoying the event and all it's activities. All of the Taff officers joined in the fun and brought along their own teddy bears to wear.
This year the mobile Police Station was used at the event and saw much activity with toddlers coming in to visit the officers and enter the colouring competition run by the officers.
Taff Neighbourhood Police introduced their newest recruit to the team, PS Billy Bear who had great fun on the day mixing with all the children, and was the most photographed officer on the day. Look out for Seargent Billy you will be seeing a lot more of him.
