Free Football Sessions

PCSO's Tom O'Neale and Matthew Langley will be holding football coaching sessions on the astro-turf at the Elba Sports Centre in Gowerton.
The officers are working in partnership with Swansea Council who is responsible for the Elba Sports Centre in Gowerton.
The two officers have successfully completed the Football Leaders Award training course run by the Welsh FA in order to hold these sessions.
The sessions are the idea of PCSO Tom O’Neale who added ‘’ the sessions are being introduced to enable local officers to engage with youngsters from the community in a fun and constructive way. Football is the largest supported team sport in the world and we are expecting a lot of interest. As the local football teams are on their end of season break these sessions will enable youngsters to continue with the sport throughout the summer holidays’’.
The first session is planned for the 27th June from 04:30 pm – 06:00 pm at the
Elba sports Centre, Gowerton.
The sessions are open to youngsters aged 9 – 12 yrs and are free of charge.
They will be running every Wednesday at these times until Wednesday 29th August.
