At the annual Community Sports Awards on 11th July 2012 held at the University of Glamorgan two local inititves came runner ups in the Project Innovation Award catergory.
Well done to both Pc Nigel Bird (Trehafod Karate Club) and Pcso Allan Blackburn (Tonyrefail Amature Boxing Club) and teams!
