First Minister Visits Bridgend Police Station

Rt. Hon Carwyn Jones AM meets with officers
Officers in Bridgend Station received a special guest recently, when the First Minister paid a visit to discuss local policing issues.
The visit took place as part of Chief Superintendent Liane James’ quarterly meetings with the Rt. Hon Carwyn Jones and local AMs and MPs.
Whilst at the station, the First Minister expressed great interest in taking part in the morning’s daily management meeting.
Rt. Hon Carwyn Jones expressed how impressed he was with the co-ordination of such BCU tasking sessions and the partnership work and engagement taking place.
As a result of the visit, the First Minister will be raising discussions in the Welsh Assembly with an aim to improve various legislations in order to benefit both the force and its communities.
