PONTPRENNAU COMMUNITY DAY 2012

Pontprennau Community Day took place on Saturday 19th May 2012 for the 4th year running. Pontprennau Community Centre and Pontprennau Community Church Centre played hosts to a variety of fun packed activities and displays for all the family.
Local residents arrived to discover a bouncy castle and slide, the Ezeeplay bus, Go Karts, Tarian the dragon, Fireman Sam, Sand Art, & Blue Tile Pottery amongst many other fun and exciting stalls.
Displays took place throughout the day including the fantastic Elite Cheerleaders, The Wonderful Wardrobe, Go Theatre, Total Body Defence and a shoot out against the Pontprennau Pumas Goalkeeper.
Also present were The Noahs Ark Appeal, who are the chosen Charity for the Llanedeyrn Neighbourhood Policing Team during 2012. They also gave out information about their organisation and had a guess the name of the bear competition.
PC Emma Roach and PCSO Karen Sanders who were the organisers of the event stated, “This years Community Day was again a great success which is being built on year on year. Our team worked closely with staff of the Community Centre, the Community Church Centre and with local residents to put this event together for local families to enjoy.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the organisation and all those who attended. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2013”.
