Briton Ferry East ward covers

The ward boundary is from the south at M4, A48, Briton Ferry roundabout and runs adjacent to the main Swansea to London railway line to the north.

The main road through the town includes a mixture of residential, commercial and licensed premises. There is a Primary School and comprehensive School and the ward has four churches and a large cemetery.

There is a small park which leads to the forestry pathway which takes walkers up over the mountain.

Sports Clubs in the ward include Briton Ferry RFC, Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC, Briton Ferry Town Cricket, Briton Ferry Steel cricket and Briton Ferry town Bowls.

Local residents are warming and engaging and have a sense of pride in their Community and with the help of local partners and residents they aim to improve the community and make it more safe and welcoming.
