I'm Emma James community support officer and together with PC Dale Davies we cover the Baglan area. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Baglan pages of ourbobby.com. The village is named after Saint Baglan, the earliest known reference is to `Bagelan` and dates as far back as 1199. Baglan has a large residential community along with an active and busy industrial estate and also has many other amenities such as local shops and businesses and its own railway station which is served by Arriva Trains Wales.
