Beddau ward covers

Beddau is a small town between Tynant and Llantrisant, steeped in mining history. It housed many who worked in the nearby Cwm coke works and surrounding mines. Beddau Rugby Club is one of the founder members of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU). There are 3 schools in the area - Llwyn Crwn Primary, Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive and Ysgol Gynradd Castellau. The neighbouring ward is Tynant although the boundaries between them often become blurred.

Your nearest manned Police Station is either Pontypridd or Bridgend.  The venue for monthly PACT meetings is Gwaun Meisgyn Primary School.
