Glyncoch ward covers

Glyncoch is a village nestling in the Taff Valley to the north of Pontypridd towards Ynysybwl. Glyncoch is a Community 1st area and there are strong partnership links between the agencies.

It is a mainly social housing community with three grocery shops, a Post Office, a Pharmacy, a Chinese Takeaway, a Community Centre, two primary schools, Glyncoch Primary School, Cefn Primary School and Ty Gwyn Educational Centre.  

The nearest police station is Pontypridd Police Station, Berw Road, Pontypridd, CF37 2TR  Tel 101.
