Trallwng ward covers

the subdistructs of Coedpenmaen, Ynysangharad and Pontypridd Common.

Trallwn is sited along the banks of the river Taff.  It has access to the lovely Taff Trail and a bustling Central Square, with various businesses located around it.  Pontypridd Common is situated close with fine views over Pontypridd and the famous Rocking Stone within the Druid Circle constructed by Dr William Price.  Ynysangharad War Memorial Park is close by, a treasure to Pontypridd. 

The are two schools in the area, Trallwng Infant School and Coed Pen Maen Primary School.
