Llangynwyd
ward covers
The Llangynwyd Ward covers from Cwmfelin down to Shwt including Lletti Brongu. This is mainly a residential area, consisting of two Primary Schools, a Comprehensive and a few local shops and pubs. The ward also stretches up into top Llan and covers the forestry area, locally known as Point to Point.
Maesteg Neighbourhood Policing Team covers the Llangynwyd ward. I am supported by PCSO Louise Thomas and the Maesteg Neighbourhood Policing Team, which consists of 2 separate teams working on opposite shifts to one another, Overseen by Sergeant Dafydd Bevan and Sergeant Fiona Haggerty.
