ward covers
The Sector is split into two wards; Cyncoed and Lakeside
Cyncoed borders Lakeside along Lake Road North and up Celyn Avenue onto Cyncoed Road. Turning left along Cyncoed Road the area covers the Cardiff Golf Club and the estate at the rear of Llanishen Reservoir. Running down Rhydypenau Road taking in Rhydypenau Primary School and Recreation area coming out onto Fidlas Road until the railway line down to Lake Road North.
The ward incorporates Cardiff High School, Rhydypenau Primary and Cardiff Golf Club. The shops located at the busy Rhydypenau crossroads and Cyncoed Village
Lakeside as the name suggests covers the areas around Roath Park Lake travelling up Cefn Coed Road and left along Cyncoed Road, taking in the University Campus. Turning left again down Celyn Avenue, over the roundabout up Lake Road North until the railway line behind the Lakeside estate.
The ward incorporates the ever popular Roath Park Lake, gardens and Lakeside Primary School.
