Youth Annoyance general non alcohol related

Summary: Annoyance in the park is going to be tackled with high visabilty patrols and the use of the mobile police station along with assistance from other policing department. Our aim is to decrease the anti social behaviour in the area and to prevent further damage and graffiti occuring

Park patrolled today and with the warmer weather it seems more people are enjoying the facilty. Lots of dog walkers spoken to. The angling association and park wardens updated about progress over the weekend. Patrols will be continuing.

The park was patrolled by officers on foot and in vehilces, alcohol sezied from the area and ASBO referrals submitted for under age drinking.

Mobile police station used in the area today, assisting with installation of new cabins in the area. Park patrolled between 10-4 by PCSO’s Michael & George and PC’s Paul and Shane Thomas. The Mayor in attendance and made aware of positive work taking place through local officers.

Foot patrols conducted today in the park and areas near the entrances, youths spoken to in the park however no anti social behaviour occuring. Whilst patrolling the treharris entrances to the park 2 males were spoken to.Both were searched and 1 male arrested for possesion of cannabis

Foot patrols conducted today in the park and areas near the entrances, youths spoken to in the park however no anti social behaviour occuring.
Whilst patrolling the Treharris entrances to the park 2 males were spoken to as they were in the area, both were searched and 1 male arrested for possesion of cannabis, proving to people if you use the park for anti social reasons the police are clamping down!

Last friday the mobile police station was situated in the park, the park has been patrolled over the past few days with dog walkers and wardens being spoken to

I patrolled the park during the afternoon, no anti social behaviour to note, some young children spoken to as they enjoyed the play areas, also asked park users whether they were aware of who is responsible for the graffiti, negative result.
Park wardens spoken to also during their daily patrols.

The park was patrolled during the afternoon by two sets of officers, covering the routes from Bedlinog through Trelewis and towards Treharris. People in the area where spoken to, no incidents occured during this time
