From PCSO Richard Jones:-

The Local Authority enforcement officers were in the area today, Tuesday 9th February 2010, conducting a dog fouling operation.

Four people were issued with £75 fixed penalty fines.

Further operations will be carried out in the area.

Councillor Anthony Taylor has been requested to arange for the Local Authority dog wardens to patrol the area.

I will keep in touch with him on this matter and will update you further as to what actions have been taken by them.

From PCSO Richard Jones:-

The council are contacting the dog wardens and will be requesting that they make regular patrols in the area to target and deter offenders.
A joint operation will also be set up between the Neighbourhood Team and the dog wardens in the coming weeks.

What we did
Mutli agency patrols carried out in the area and a number of dog owners issued with fixed penalty fines.
