From PC 4777 LLOYD
The Sandfields & Aberavon Neighbourhood Policing Team are going to be working closely with staff from the 'Keep Wales Tidy' organisation in the coming weeks.
Arrangements have been made for a multi-agency approach with representatives from 'Keep Wales Tidy', Neath Port talbot Council and South Wales Police coming together to tackle the Dog Fouling issue and other closely related issues such as Fly Tipping and general Littering.
The operations are due to commence at the beginning of March and will run for approximately 12 days.
Resources will be deployed throughout Aberavon and the Sandfields estate (East & West) due to issues raised in their respective PACT meetings.
I will be updating this priority with the results of these patrols.
