Summary:
There have been on going problems at the location with persons still parking at the location on the chevrons outside the school. We have not been given a date for the residents meeting by Cllr John MILES and Cllr Dai HOWELLS. We will continue to attend the area and issue tickets to persons who are parked at the location. We will await the date of the meeting before that can be progressed.

- As you would imagine it has been very quiet on James Street, there are just over 2 weeks left of the holidays and we are planning to start as we mean to go at the beginning of term and try and stop people parking illegally.

- We have done a lot of work with the schools and the council traffic wardens in the past few months, however as it is now the summer holidays there should be no parking issues on this street as most of the issues stemmed from school parking.

- Call received from a residents on the 1st July regarding parents parking causing an obstruction at the end of the school day on this date. By the time officers had attended the area a short time later the area was clear of all obstructions. This information has also been passed to the Council traffic department for their information.
- >> Tickets issued - 28/06/2010
- Swansea council have been patrolling this area over the past month and over 10 tickets have been issued. There are several more dates planned when they will be visiting the area in the near future.
