Location of Concern:
Streets leading from Whitchurch Rd with restricted parking bays
Summary:
Parking – in residents’ permit controlled bays, on double yellow lines, on pavements, on pedestrian crossing zig-zag lines.
Non-permit holder parking in residents’ only bays is reported to be an ongoing problem throughout the ward.
PCSO Argyle – liaise with new traffic warden team following implementation of Civil Parking enforcement at beginning of July. Set benchmark for parking enforcement immediately after implementation of the new scheme.
Priority Objective – To provide more effective parking control by increasing the risk of detection to a credible level.
