On saturday 21st december 2013, A Member of the public called police after noticing 3 males acting suspiciously at the rear of a property in the MAES-Y-BRYN area.
the member of the public obtained descriptions of the individuals and officers flooded the area in search of the 3 males.local PCSO's detained 3 males within the area of CHURCH ROAD and were then arrested by officers.
further information gave officers the power to search the addresses of the males wherby a quantity of stolen articles were seized which linked the suspects to 3 burglaries committed within the WYNCLIFFE GARDENS area of PENTWYN.
This shows that your eyes and ears prove to HELP when crimes are being committed!

General patrols have been conducted throughout the Pentwyn area. So far this month we've seen a decrease in the number of incidents reported.

High visibility patrols have been conducted throughout the Pentwyn area and those seen acting suspiciously have been stopped and spoken to.

Recent reports show a decrease of Dwelling Burglaries in the Pentwyn Ward.
Regular high visibilty foot patrols and are being conducted in the area by Neighbourhood Officers. Plain clothed and uniformed Response Officers are also proactively patrolling the area throughout the day and nights.
Dwelling Burglaries remain at a low with none recorded within the last week.
