>> School Patrols RE Parking - 18/06/2012
Uniformed foot patrol has been carried out around local schools, Morriston Comp, Pentre Graig, Cwmrhydyceirw, Glyncollen and Ynystawe Primarys have all been visited. No vehicles parked causing an obstruction were sighted.

Uniformed foot patrols in relation to parking were carried out on the 8/6/12. No issues were reported. Patrols will continue.

On Friday 25th May a targeted patrol took place at Cwmrhycyceriw Primary School at the end of the School day in relation to parking concerns.  Only one driver was seen stopping on yellow line markings and was moved on after a verbal warning.

Patrols will continue when the School returns after the holidays.

Parking concerns have been raised regarding parking outside Cwmrhydyceirw Primary School.  Local Officers are carrying out targeted patrols at key times at this location. 

Pupils at Cwmrhydyceirw Primary will also be taking part with a Police speed camera exercise outside the School.

This priority was raised at the PACT meeting held on 09/05/2012.  Updates to follow with specific locations and hot spot areas.

What we did
Regular patrols carried out to target hot spot areas. Problem is not resolved but has reduced.
