Road Furniture Issue (signs/lights)
Date of Meeting:
30/01/2012
Meeting:
Adult Learning centre,Michaelston College at 7pm
Location of Concern:
Michaelston Road
Summary:
Traffic lights and parking on the junction of Michaelston Road and Falconwood drive.
Residents have rasied concerns about the vehicles coming up from Falconwood drive and crossing the lights at the last moment when trying to turn right causing the traffic from michaelston road to have to stop to let them around, residents would like a fliter light to be on falconwood drive. there are also problems of a resident parking very near the corner of the junction which means drivers are having to pull out into the centre of the road to get past and this is a potential hazard when the buses come around the corner .

- TheHighways department are going to carry out a survey of the area and will feed back to the neighbourhood officer. residents were concerned that they would not be consulted and that issues like the cutting back of the trees to give better visibility were not included.
