PACT Projects
To view information on a PACT Project click the link. The current PACT Projects are:
- Speeding A4109 Heol y Glyn
- Speeding Vehicles along the A4109 Heol Y Glyn Glynneath is a long term problem.
Complaints of Vehicles speeding at the location including HGVs from Celtic Energy. At present there is a legal issue regarding the Signs at heol Y Glyn and in view of this the Speed camera van has stopped attending twice a month as in the past.
This Legal issue is being addressed at present and we are a awaiting reply from local Authority.
There are further concerns voiced regarding this area concerning the drainage. Water runs down from the Mountain and freezes on the Road surface in Winter causing hazardous conditions. This has resulted in Road closures.
Both Police and local Council are teaming up to address both these problems.
