- Regular patrols are being conducted in the area. There was a street meeting with residents who live close to the park last Sunday. Residents have confirmed the issue is still causing problems. If your having issues please report in using 101 number.

There have been regular patrols conducted by myself and other officers and there have been no groups seen congregating in Merthyr Vale Park over the past two weeks. There have been no reports made to us either. Upon visiting the park there is no evidence to show alcohol being consumed within the park. The area will continue to be monitored and patrolled. If your having any problems please report in using the 101 number for non-emergencies.

- Regular patrols have been conducted at various times over the past couple of weeks including the Friday and Saturday evenings. Alcohol has been confiscated and youths moved from the area. Since this has been done over the past week there have been no further issues reported and no groups of older youths congregating in the park.
