Annette Jones & Jon Brown
We are both qualified Crime Reduction and Architectural Liaison Officers and work closely with Cardiff Council Planning Department giving advice on new developments within Cardiff BCU.
It is difficult to quantify or measure the cost of preventing crime, but by introducing crime prevention through environmental design into new building developments and refurbishments in the City which incorporate target hardening, increased surveillance, appropriate and secure parking facilities, safe pedestrian routes, lighting, CCTV and good orientation of buildings, it goes a long way into building safer communities.
