Bedlinog and Trelewis Ward
The Bedlinog Ward covers both Bedlinog and Trelewis area and has a population of 3,399 people. Bedlinog and Trelewis are situated in the beautiful Taff Valley to the south-west of Merthyr Tydfil.
Situated only 10 minutes from the A470 and 30 minutes drive to Cardiff, as well as a 15 minute drive to Merthyr Tydfil, Bedlinog and Trelewis are well connected.
Trelewis and Bedlinog grew during the late nineteenth century during the Mining era, developing around the three local mines.
Both Villages are steeped in History.
