Become a PACT Panel memeber or Chairperson
PACT , Partnerships & Communities Together, is designed to encourage local communities to not only identify local problems but to become actively involved in devising solutions.
Thus far PACT has worked well, however with assistance and participation from the community, we can improve the process.
Community representatives are essential in bringing to the table local experience, knowledge and ideas on tackling crime, anti social behaviour, litter problems, lighting issues and parking difficulties etc
Ideally the PACT panel should consist of council members, community representatives, police and other organisations.
I am therefore interested in hearing from anybody, who would like further information on undertaking PACT Panel Member training and becoming a working member of the PACT meeting.
What we will offer in return are the skills and knowledge to work more effectively with the police and other agencies, in order to get your communities concerns tackled more efficiently and, an assurance of a firm commitment to supporting you as an active member of your community.
