Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) have taken their police surgeries on the road with the help of the County Council’s Library and Information Service.
Local police surgeries will be held alongside the county’s mobile library when it pulls into villages and communities on its regular weekly visits across the Vale of Glamorgan.
PCSO Matt Smith of Peterston Super Ely NPT, said: “We will use the mobile library as a new way of accessing communities that we might not otherwise reach. NPT officers will join the mobile library on the set days and times it is their area and in our area and take in a few stops meeting the local residents, listening to their concerns and offering crime prevention advice.
“This initiative is in partnership with Vale of Glamorgan Council Library and Information Service and we hope that more members of the public will take this opportunity not only to take advantage of the library service but to meet their local officer and raise any issues they me have which can then be taken forward to the next PACT meeting.”
