PC Judith Martin and PCSO Alex Mackay carried out a speed survey on Sat 18 Oct 2009 at between 1400 and 1445hrs. During that time, 12 Warning notices were issued to drivers who were driving in excess of 30mph. The majority of offenders were driving at around 40mph, however it was of great concern that 2 vehicles were driving at 59mph.
This area will be targeted by officers over the coming weeks, and drivers will be prosecuted for excess speed.
