There was another incident recently where a residents tyres were slashed. The alleyway between Allen Close and Wern Fawr Lane may have been used as an escape route. This is not known for certain but just in case the local cllrs have been requested to chase up an update re the alley being closed off.

- A meeting to discuss alleygating for Cardiff including Allen Close has recently been held. We are awaiting a decision on the future of this project.

Problems within the area of Allen Close are being monitored and figures are being collated for the ongoing consideration of alley gating in the area.

Alleygating was mentioned at the problem solving group with the Alley gating officer and Cardiff County Council.
This had been considered over the last two years with consultation with the local community.
Statistics are currently being compiled for the alleygating team to consider whether this request fits the criteria for further public consultation to be considered.
