Aberkenfig
ward covers
I am PCSO Chris Bowen covering the Aberkenfig and Coytrahen Ward. Aberkenfig is at the bottom end of the Llynfi Valley running from Coytrahen to the M4 motorway bridge. The ward runs along the Ogmore River from which all three valley rivers merge. Aberkenfig village has three Primary Schools and the Pupil Referral Unit.
It also has various public houses, clubs, local shops, post office, restaurants, a Mosque and Aberkenfig Police Station. I am supported by Aberkenfig Neighbourhood Policing Team, which consists of 2 separate teams working on opposite shifts to one another, Overseen by Sergeant Dafydd Bevan and Sergeant Fiona Haggerty.
